More individualized attention due to smaller class sizes
Unique opportunities we give dancers that other studios don't
Jolie Arts Dance Center is American Fork's newest non-competition dance studio dedicated to teaching affordable, quality and creative dance education to all ages! We strive to teach proper technique to ensure safety and growth along with providing new and innovative choreography. We specialize in Jazz, Ballet/Pointe, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary!
We love to give dancers many unique and exciting opportunities. Although dancers will learn Classical ballet variations, they will also learn original ballet choreography. Teachers will also teach creative choreography in Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and Hip Hop. We also give dancers the opportunity to choreograph their own original pieces and encourage them to submit their choreography for choreography festivals and adjudications with Body Logic Dance, SALT, Utah Film Festival and more!
We feel very strongly about our dancers being involved with their community. We strive to give them opportunities to be involved and serve the cities of American Fork, Lehi and Pleasant Grove, Some of the projects we have planned and participated in are volunteer events - Princess Tea Party at american fork Library, Performances at Senior Centers, and Dance for a life - a multi dance studio dance benefit with proceeds going towards the Children's Miracle Network.
We offer technique only classes year round for dancers because we strongly believe that a strong technical base will aid in any dancer's progression and success. We offer these classes for dancers whether they are interested in performing or not. They are also available if a dancer wants to keep up their technique post graduation as well. We have pass off lists for every level to ensure that every dancer is receiving the same quality education. Parents will receive monthly reports showing where their dancer is excelling and where we would like them to progress. We never want your dancer's level to be a surprise and have seen vast improvement in the dancer when their parent is also aware of how they are performing.
At Jolie Arts Dance Center, we strive to have a high but reachable standard. We have smaller class sizes where the dancers stay more engaged, improve quicker, and receive more one on one time with the instructors that they would not receive in a larger class setting.
One thing we strive for at Jolie Arts Dance Center is creating a safe and creative space for all our dancers which includes their health.
We are very serious about our COVID Standards that will be implementing this dance year and wanted to share what we were doing.
- Hand Washing before and after class

- Surfaces and floors sanitized between classes
- Social Distancing
-Masks encouraged but not required and a JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE when it comes to wearing masks (disposable ones will be at the studio for anyone that would like one)

And online or in studio options!
We understand that with the current world pandemic being in the studio may not be possible. We are offering Zoom options for dancers (or dancer’s family members) who may be experiencing any COVID symptoms, or are immunocompromised.
In order to request online participation an email must be sent to with at least 1 hour notice to request the Zoom link with the class name and dancer's name provided in the email. When signing into Zoom please use the dancer’s name for the Zoom profile so the staff member can properly permit them into class from the waiting room. Staff assistants will be monitoring the Zoom classes and if any inappropriate actions, images or words are displayed the user will be immediately removed and not permitted into class again. Jolie Arts Dance Center has taken many precautions to ensure safety and privacy for our online classes and will take any and all actions to ensure that is provided for all dancers.
You MUST be a registered Jolie Arts Dance Center dancer to request online participation.
Friends and Family are not permitted to participate in online classes unless registered for class as well - Free week is the only exception to this precaution.
